Travelling is fun!
I remember that the first time I went travelling was when I was seventeen. My first trip was to the United States. I went to the West Coast where Disneyland was, and I was thrilled! I remembered that it was also my first time on a plane. I was feeling scared and yet excited at the same time. I visualised myself flying over the Pacific ocean and imagined the sensation of crushing into the sea during a plane crash. I was praying hard during my entire flight. My maiden flight experience was with China Airlines. It was a twenty over hours flight. I loved the food on the plane and I was looking forward to the next meal each time.
After a few short trips to Malaysia and Philipines in between, I went back to the States again in Sep 1997. This time, I was going there with two friends for an exchange programme at New York University. It was an experience of a lifetime. First of all living independent on my own, and surviving in the metropolis of the Big Apple for six months. During the six months, I have met conmen, psychics, and muggers. All of which are near miss kind of experience. I must say I was really lucky. Apart from New York, I also travelled to Alantic City, Washington, Toronto, Montreal, Ontario, Los Angeles, San Fransico and Las Vegas. I also went to breathtaking Grand Canyon, the Niagara Falls and the Yosemite National Park. I also went to Big Bear Mountains in LA to try skiing, which is really not my cup of tea.
A picture tells a thousand words..... Enjoy!
